What is Linux taskset Command?  

In this tutorial we learn how to use taskset command in Linux. taskset command is taskset - set or retrieve a process’s CPU affinity

taskset Syntax  

       taskset [options] mask command [argument...]
       taskset [options] -p [mask] pid

taskset Examples

We can use man and info command to see the manual page of taskset command.

taskset command also have --help option to show list of options.

To open man page for taskset command we can use command below. To exit man or info page you can press q.

man taskset

To open info page for taskset command we can use command below.

info taskset

taskset --help
