What is Linux cd Command?  

In this tutorial we learn how to use cd command in Linux. cd command change the current directory to dir

cd Syntax  

       cd [OPTION]... [FILE]...

cd Examples  

cd Command Manual / Help  

We can use man and info command to see the manual page of cd command.

cat command also have --help option to show list of options.

To open man page for cd command we can use command below. To exit man or info page you can press q.

man cat

To open info page for cd command we can use command below.

info cat

To open help page from cd command we can run command below.

cat --help
